Cells can make almost anything. Insulin. Leather. Cement precursors. Enzymes that break down PET. The catalog is almost unbelievable — and almost entirely trapped in PhD notebooks and temperamental lab-scale reactors.
The bottleneck isn't the cell. It's everything around the cell. The reactor that drifts. The sensor that lies. The operator log that conflicts with the spreadsheet. The batch that can't be reproduced three months later in a different building.
A closed loop fixes this. A reactor that senses itself, corrects itself, and signs its own record is not a productivity improvement — it's a different category of object.
That is what we are building.
The reactor hits the set-point, or it doesn't. No amount of branding fixes a drifting pH probe. We ship hardware that works, then we talk about it.
A batch you can't reproduce is a story, not a product. Every correction, every decision, every harvest — signed, chained, diffable against the run before it.
We are not biologists. We work alongside them. Our job is to remove every non-biological reason a campaign fails — so the biology gets a clean shot.
We are in stealth because the work isn't ready to speak. When it is, we will. Until then, we ship.
